Project Facts

The design focus is on combing the functional division of each floor, while creating an academic and scientific research atmosphere in the interior space, and hoping to properly represent the attribute symbols of the specific nanomaterials in the space by design techniques.

The first floor of the east side of the building is the reception hall of the institute. The black 10mm thick steel plate combines the front desk, logo wall and a water open negotiation area. In this concise space, moderate slash elements, such as wall stone partitions, guide signs, and oblique cut lines on black steel plates, echo the hexagonal honeycomb lattice pattern of graphene carbon atoms.

The different functional spaces in the room are divided into regular and orderly. The virtual and real walls can be divided into different spaces, and can also be used as screen partitions, and can also be fixed furniture, which enhances the integrity and consistency of the indoor space. Light wood and white are the main colors of the entire interior space, and the combination of color and form conveys the academic temperament of the simple space. In the conference area and shared leisure area, the lively color of the furniture adds vitality to the overall space, and also adjusts the serious research atmosphere, bringing a moment of relaxation to the research engineers.

As a key element, the hexagonal structure of graphene carbon atoms has been transformed into visual elements that are widely used in indoor guides, films and some decorative wall surfaces, bringing unexpected technological beauty to the overall space.
