Project Facts

The renovation of Building 3 and the boiler room to meet the needs of modern office, while at the same time making the two new and old buildings integrated with the overall environment, is the design focus of this project. Based on the frame structure of Building No. 3, we explored the idea of adding several boxes to the frame to enrich the entire building block. Through different matching experiments, choose to add a glass box to make the space transparent. After many considerations, we decided to add a wooden grille frame to the building's surface. The color and frame form of the added wooden grille coincides with the No. 1 building of the main building of Jingguang, achieving the effect of harmony with the surrounding environment.

The office building has three floors underground and two floors above ground. The ground floor is office space, and the underground is mainly for staff restaurants, leisure, and conference areas. The south facade of the office building is the main entrance to the building. It uses a large glass curtain wall and a transparent facade to showcase the company's internal conditions. Connected to the south facade glass curtain is a glass skylight on the second floor of the basement. Natural light spills from the patio and is vividly changed by the adjustment of the electric curtains. At the same time as the renovation of the facade of the building, we also designed a unified design of the shared space and restaurant in the basement, using a large amount of wood to form a Chinese-style quaint mood.
