This case is an old building renovation project. The design process includes consideration of old buildings, consideration of the coordination of old and new buildings, and exploration of thematic interior spaces. The predecessor of the park was the Beijing Xinhua Printing Factory, which was established in 1949. It has historically undertaken the printing of important national key books and documents, and has a history of more than 60 years.

The user hopes to make full use of the two workshops and plan the office space, small theater and shared space through reasonable design. The functional space should be coherent and easy to use.

Built in the 40s, the No. 5 and No. 6 workshops have a brick-concrete structure, and the beams are made of steel and wood. The exterior is red brick wall. It still seems to have a superb level of architectural structure. After a long time, the wooden beam roof exudes a quiet artistic atmosphere and colorful colors.
